I love my husband! Gotta love the outfit! He would RAH at the kids while they were eating! They thought it was great! I thought it was great too! He entertained them and cleaned up the kitchen...now how is that for multitasking!

Another gold star for mother of the year

Today I earned another gold star for becoming mother of the year. Little background....The first day of school, I neglected to look at the calendar and didn't realize that there was an early out and there was nobody home for him. So now I check calendar impulsively to ensure that I wouldn't miss something again. What kind of mother isn't home for her children!!!
So last night (Monday night), I check the calendar it reads:
Ping Pong Pictures
Preschool 8:00
and a ball game.
Seeing that there is no school on Friday I automatically assume that this must be a make up session for preschool...because regularly there is no preschool on Tuesdays...so I must say I was quite proud of myself and thankful that I had read the calendar. So this morning I get the boys ready for school and send them on there way, only to receive a phone call from the bus driver wondering why David sent both boys...it wasn't a preschool day...so I fill up with a little more pride and tell the bus driver I had read my calendar and it said there was preschool today because of pictures and no school on Friday. So after I hung up with the bus driver, I called David to make sure that is what the calendar said, and yep it was. Little more pride...So it didn't occur to me until I went to school and I checked my email to find an email stated that there was NO PRESCHOOL and Memphis was brought back to daycare...what the calendar meant was that that if we wanted preschool pictures we where suppose to be there at 8:00 and than take them home. WOOPS!!!!

Our Family

Our Family is enjoying being all back together again. We missed having Daddy around all the time. We are moved into our new home and settling down. The kids are enjoying school and Julia is enjoying Grandpa. We still have some boxes to unpack but in time it will all be settled. My Grandma VZ will soon be going home to the LORD, but what a glorious day for her! David had a cold this weekend and we are praying it doesn't pass to all of us! He is loving his job and having his family close by. I am back at school and not minding the drive.

Happy 4th Birthday Memphis

Memphis turned 4 on Sunday. At 4 years old Memphis loves anything with music and movement! He is always on the go and has a smile on his face! He loves cars, animals and riding his bike. On Sunday Memphis and I made a cake

First day of School

Well, I should say second day(August 23rd)...the first day we were taken by suprise when the bus showed up 20 minutes early...hmm Julia has on 4 pairs of socks....strange child!

She is quite the character....the other day I bought her new panties and she decided to wear all 7 pair....at once!

New House

Some on August 13th, we moved to our new house. The weeds are now gone thanks to my wonderful husband....speaking of a wonderful husband, I have been greeted with a nice warm supper each night now that I have started work! What a sweet man! He also cleans up and mops the floor(it is miserable...it shows every little spot of dirt!) Before we moved we did A LOT OF painting and scraping! Thanks Bruinsma girls! Than we moved and were very thankful for all the help! Now we have lots of boxes! They are getting less each day, but we still have a lot of boxes!
