Georgia

We made it to Georgia and are having lots of fun. We flew through Memphis Tenn and of course had to take a picture for our precious little boy! Nanny bought Julia a new dress and she looks like a southern princess. She had her pictures taken and she charmed all who were there!

Mommy, Daddy and Julia have enjoyed taking naps. (It is SO quiet without the boys)This is the most sleep I have had in a LONG time! However, Julia has decided it is much more comfortable sleeping between mommy and daddy...I said I would never let her do it, but man is it fun to snuggle with her. Julia has had lots of kisses and love!

The boys are enjoying Pam's house and even are getting use to the dogs!

Leaving

Tomorrow we head to Georgia (well actually Sioux City, than early Wednesday, Georgia). The boys are staying home with another foster family. Gage is having an extremely hard time with this and so am I. The thought of leaving my boys for 9 days is very overwhelming. Please pray for all of us...that I will take this time to be refreshed and come back to be re-energized, and that I would not worry about them and for them that they don't feel abandoned. I know that they will be fine, but of course the motherly side of me thinks that they will melt to pieces because I am not caring for them, when in an all actuality they will have a blast feeding the horses apples and watching all the new movies!

Also, court is coming again. Please pray that God's will be done and what is best for the boy's will be done.

Walking

Julia has discovered that she can walk. She tries to walk everywhere she goes, but once she falls she crawls the rest of the way. She will stand up in the middle of the floor and take off too! Here is a video to enjoy!

Zoo

Who needs to go to the zoo when you live in the Baker house! Just kidding...Gage has been talking about the zoo for weeks and he finally got to go. Gage was a little disappointed because there were NO lions and zebras...his favorites, however he did enjoy the monkey's.
Memphis liked watching the birds
.
We ended our day with a ride on the Merry-Go-Round.
Gage finally got to ride his Zebra!

Family Reunion

This weekend we went to the annual Damhof Family Reunion at the Cabin at a beautiful lake in Minnesota. The cabin brings back so many happy childhood memories, that I braved taking three small children to it without my hubby. I want them to have some of the same happy memories that I had as a child...boat rides, tubing, fishing, LOTS of food, camp fires, Sunday morning church services, sunburns and time with family.
I enjoyed being with other mommies and having conversations of laughter as Karen provides us with many "inappropriate" comments...thanks Karen!
I should be cleaning my house, mowing the lawn, putting away laundry, but I decided to share my family fun with all of you instead...so enjoy!
Gage and Memphis were scared of the water...I think because there were fish in there, but they enjoyed catching the fish and Memphis enjoyed the sand box.

On a walk aka a way to get Memphis to take a nap!
