4 Month

Bethany is 4 months old already! She is growing like a weed! She likes to eat her hands and babble! She loves to sit up and watch the world go by, but doesn't like it when her brothers and sister bother her. She is a very smiley baby and very content. She sleeps 12 hours at night. She loves to smile and coo at you!

She is such a cuddler as well!

Take me home with them

I am a mother who doesn't care about what her child wears as long as they are dressed. So the other day when Memphis came out for church wearing this....I couldn't help but give a little chuckle...to which Memphis asks me "will people laugh at me" to which I reply

"no, honey they will just think you are so cute!" with a little grin on his face he says to me "they will want to take me home with them!"

Compare the babies!

I hear lots of "oh Bethany looks like mom, oh she looks like dad, oh she looks like grandpa" but they all agree Bethany looks like Julia...so here ya go...some side by side comparisons?

Bethany is 3 months!

Bethany is 3 months old today! I can hardly believe it! At 3 months, Bethany is weighing 13 lbs and 8 oz! Her favorite activites include eating, sleeping, pooping, talking, and watching the world from her swing. She also LOVES the water both at bath and in the pool! She has discovered her hands and eats them all the time! Her facial expressions remind me SO much of her Daddy! In the mornings I go in and get her up and she pulls her face up and strecthes...than we go wake Daddy up and he pulls his face up and stretches and they look some much alike. I think she could pass for Julia some days as well...however, Julia was 6 months old before she weighed 13 pounds!

Memphis is 5!

Memphis turned 5 this week and boy was he excited about being 5! He has watched all the things Gage did when he was 5 and now he is excited for it as well! Memphis has become quite the baseball player much to his papa's delight. He will recruit anyone to pitch a ball to him so he can hit it or beg for somebody to catch with him. His smile is the orniaste smile I have ever seen! He marches to the beat of his own drum not worrying about the world around him. He loves his siblings and is a good big brother to them. This summer he learned how to swim without a life jacket and jump off the diving board.

Trip to GA

We flew to GA this summer to visit Nannie and Paw-Paw. It took Julia awhile to warm up, but Bethany quickly figured out that Paw-Paw would feed her while he gently rocked and talked to her. We enjoyed every moment with the and wished we lived closer!

While there we meet up with David's best friend April and her family at a really cool place for kids. They had all bouncy blow up equipment and the girls had a blast! I am not sure how many tTimes Isabella and Julia climed the starts to slide down the slide...they did it for a solid 3 hours!

2 Months

Bethany is 2 months old

at 2 months, Bethany is smiling and cooing

and has lots of rolls to clean around. She is a great sleeper at night sleeping between 5-7 hours. She likes to eat and sit in her bumbo chair and watch the world around her! She hates loud noises and when her siblings bug her, but they so badly think she needs toys, loving, and food!
