Bethany 11 months

At 11 months Bethany has stole our hearts!  She learned how to wave and takes every opportunity to wave at all who go bye.  She started to indicate very strongly what she wants and who she wants.  She can pull herself up now and makes sure to get into everything of her siblings!

I love the way she clicks her tounge when she wants your attention, I love the way she smiles so huge when you get  her from her crib, I love the way she snuggles in so close when I get home at night.  I love the way she makes a HUGE mess when she eats.  I love that she has to have a drink from a "big girl" cup when she sees a cup.  I love her beautiful smiles

I wish

Last night in the car Julia looked at me with a very perplexed face and said,
 "I wish my name had a "R" in it". 
"Why" I asked
(Julia) "Because I want to be a mom"
(me) "Honey you don't have to have an "R" in your name to be a mom".
(Julia with a Huge smile) "oh good!"  "after I am a mom can I be a doctor"
(me) "Julia you can be a mom and a doctor."
(Julia) "WOW!)

10 Months Bethany

Bethany turned 10 months on Saturday and we celebrated the day by working in the garden, having friends over for supper and a campfire! At 10 months Bethany proved hard to snap a picture of! She didn't want to sit still for a moment! She has crawling down pat and is into EVERYTHING! The kids left the door open and there went Bethany right out the door! Her favorite spots to play are by the popcorn and books!

Be Still...

Today was a very windy South Dakota kind of a day and Julia was busy sewing with Grandma when the wind howled and "scared her", but than she remembered that Jesus made the wind "be still" and she could pray to Jesus to keep safe. The look of total faith and trust in Jesus shone on her face while she talked about how Jesus would keep her safe....it was a moment where you realize that "faith like a child" is what we need in our lives!

Adoption

Today we signed papers for our intent to adopt the boys...wow I can hardly believe it. It will be finalized this summer, but we are one more step closer to having the boys as our own! Their medical cards will be coming in the mail with their new names on them! Gage Dwight Jaymes Baker and Memphis Clayton Rain Baker!

Is it really march??

This weekend one could hardly believe it was March...here are a few activites that we did this weekend....Gardening with Grandpa we found a bunch of worms...memphis was the only brave one and would touch it... last year we got pumpkins in our front yard because we were to lazy to clean up the kid's pumpkins from halloween, so this year we tried to make our pumpkins grown, but I don't think it is going to workGage used the clippers to snip the worms..we also got out the water...my kids just can't stay away from it!Bethany got the hang of crawling what a beautiful weekend!

Bethany is 9 months

At 9 months Bethany has developed a temper just like her dads! She can only handle so much than it blows and when she wants something she wanted it 10 minutes ago. She will throw herself back and give your heart a jolt if you don't watch out! She FINALLY has started to crawl, to which her sisters says "we need to trade her in for a baby". She likes to babble and can say Mama, Dada, Baba, and Ga. She loves to feed herself She loves her siblings until they disrupt her play than she pulls their hair! But it perfectly fine for her to disrupt their play to which Memphis has started building walls around his toys so she can't get in!
