Playing with Nannie and Paw-Paw

Julia has enjoyed playing with her Nannie and PawPaw. They have had bad colds, but that hasn't stopped them from enjoying each other. They read books, put puzzles together and rock. She is such a charmer!

The Zoo

ZOO DAY!!!

On Friday Nannie took us to the zoo! Julia had a blast!!! Her favorite animal was the wolf. She thought it was a puppy! She would cry more more more every time we left one of the animals. She waved bye bye to each animal! She even blew kisses to the wolf! She was SO much fun to watch. We wore her out...she crashed on the way home and took a 3 1/2 hour nap! GA 2010

On Tuesday we left for MN....Julia entertained herself quite well in the car....she played with Mama's sunglasses

after a thunder storm we arrived at Kathy's house. We enjoyed playing with our cousins! What a blessing to have such wonderful family!

Wednesday morning we went to the airport Julia watched the planes and Julia played with her babies.

She did great on the plane! Once she figured out that their was a potty on the plane and that meant we could get up she took advantage of the chance to get out of her seat! She showed everyone on board her "Dora" book and flirted with the stewardess. We made out of Atlanta (barely) and made it Nannie and Paw-Paw's house. Julia didn't know quite what to think of her Aunt Torri, but after she pulled out the bubbles she thought it was ok.

On Thursday David/Dwight cousin's came over for a visit. She enjoyed playing ball with them. Pictures where hard to take because she never wants to sit still very long! I may have not said "get off your sister" once this week, but I have heard "mama, no mama do it," more than I can count! She is charming her Nannie and PawPaw but keeps a close eye out for her mama! She has parted from her Mama to go for coffee with her daddy! I must admit that as an only child she is a lot more talkative and a lot more work!!! She has nobody else to entertain her! I am enjoying my time with no "house resposibilities" and the ability to slow down a little. Dwight is enjoying time with his family!

Supervision

We have gotten out our baby pool this week....here is the difference between Mommy supervision and ....Daddy supervision

Gage is 5!

I can't belive "my baby" is 5! He got a new cowboy hat with shoot guns and cowboy boots! He wanted a baseball cake made by Grandma VZ! He went to kindergarten round up on his birthday!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day the kids got me a beatiful picture frame with their pictures in it. Daddy gave me a much needed nap and breakfast in bed! My mom and dad came and we had supper together. What a joy mothers are!

Not your typical mother's day picture, maybe that means my kids are atypical??? Oh well I love them anyways!

Conversations

Last night I decided that weeks get long without adult conversation! Here is some of the conversations I had last night with my children....
Mommy to Julia....get your pickle out of his ear....we eat pickles not put them in ears!
Mommy to Memphis....get your head out of the toliet...we put pee and poop in the toliet not heads!
Memphis to Mommy...No head toliet...my drown...
Mommy to memphis...yes memphis don't put your head in the toliet because you might drown and get nasty germs!
Memphis to Mommy....ok mommy,my not want to drown...
