July 4th Weekend!

Our family had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We started off on Thursday by seeing Daddy at his schooling in SF, followed by a ear appointment for Julia that turned out great and than on to Grandma Grape as Gage calls her. We enjoyed some time with Grandma Grape and even got in on a birthday celebration for our cousins. On Friday we went to my uncle's farm where the boys had a SUPER time. Fredrick showed us around and even gave us lessons on how baby cows are made and how the milking workds! Fredrick even got the boys liking the puppy!

Julia helped Grandma pick rasberries, or should I say eat them! Than on Saturday we headed up to my uncle's cabin, where we rode in the boat, swam in the lake, fished and even did a little tubing!

Julia was and is a CRAZY girl. She likes to go flying off the dock and into the "pool". She even gave the water slide a try! It is funny to see such a little thing doing something so "big"! Saturday night Memphis just couldn't stay awake any longer and feel asleep at the table!
Saturday night we stayed in a motel and the kids did a little dancing and even a little sleeping!

New Due

Memphis has been noted for his wild hair. It kinda goes with his wild personality. He was full of life and energy and his hair just fit his personality "wild"!!! The other night we went to the Pow wow and the boys got to see the pow wow clowns who had silly hair. The boy's thought they were great! However, when I got home I was getting everybody ready for bed and it was a little to quiet for my liking, so I went to look for Memphis. I was greated with a boy with HUGE smile, a scissors in hand and a pile of curls! Memphis tells me he has silly hair like the clowns! So the next day we had to fix it! No more curls! The wild hair may be gone, but not my wild boy! This morning he said it "stinks in here" as he sprays the Pam cooking spray, which I proceed to grab from him not thinking about how slick the floor is, I slip, fall into him and he gets knocked over! I guess some days we have to learn the hard way!

Train Rides

My parents church had their 125th anniversary celebration this weekend and the they had train rides! The boys never wanted to get off!

Julia on the other hand didn't like it as much!

Mama Julia

Julia LOVES taking care of her babies! She just got a new doll crib from Bridget and she LOVES it. She has tried to sleep in it, but doesn't fit! However, her babies are always naked!

We do wash her puppy shirt...however, we have to remove the shirt and wash it while Julia is sleeping! It is her favorite!!!!!!

Flood

Today the sun is shining, but this last weekend all we saw was RAIN! This is the town where I teach and one of my student's homes. It is a MESS!!!

Dora

Julia has developed a new obession for Dora. She goes CRAZY over Dora...we were in Wal-Mart the other night and she saw Dora PJ's and stripped right there in Wal-Mart and put them on. We couldn't get them off of her, so we bought her when we left! She also found Dora cups, a Dora hat and a Dora book and of course we let her get them all because well she is spoiled!!!! Well actually there was motivation behind it, her old cups were leaking, she needed a hat and in it being Dora we are hoping that she will leave it on and the book has provide great entertainment for the whole trip!

Julia is 2!

I can hardly believe my baby is 2! She is so full of life! She loves to take care of her babies and keep up with her brothers! Her favorite park activity is to swing and her favorite food is mushrooms! She has to have 2 of everything...2 blankets, 2 pretties She likes to snuggling with Grandma and play with Nannie and PawPaw
